The Prison Epistles – 4 Lessons

The great apostle Paul passed many years in prison (Acts 20:23, 24:27, 28:30; 2 Cor. 11:23). Besides sharing the good news with those who came to visit him — and his captors — the prisoner Paul used the time to encourage and challenge disciples by letter.

The “prison epistles” normally refers to four letters: Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon. And beginning on January 26, we will study them all. Not only do Paul’s inspiring words make for inspiring study — they can strengthen us as we face our own challenges.

The series, which complements our Romans sermon series, is open to all members and guests. Classes are 9:00- 9:45am Sundays in FLC 101. Come and learn how Paul’s words still speak in our time.
