 ens — sorrow over division in our nation\, grief over racial wounds\, an
 xiety about the future\, weariness from cultural tension\, and personal st
 ruggles that feel heavy.\nWe do not want anyone to carry those things alon
 e — or to carry them apart from one another.\nScripture gives us a gift 
 we often overlook: lament. Throughout the Psalms and the prophets\, God
 ’s people bring their confusion\, grief\, anger\, and fear directly to H
 im. Lament is not complaining. It is not political posturing. It is not as
 signing blame. Lament is an act of faith — choosing to turn toward God t
 ogether in our pain rather than away from Him or against one another.\nOn 
 Friday March 13th at 7pm\, we will gather for a Night of Lament.\nThis wi
 ll not be a debate. It will not be a forum for opinions. It will be a spac
 e for prayer\, Scripture\, silence\, confession\, and hope in Christ. We w
 ill come not as political tribes\, but as one family redeemed by Jesus. We
  may not agree on every issue\, but we belong to the same Savior. And beca
 use of Him\, we can kneel side by side.\nOur focus will be simple:\n\n\nTo
  bring our sorrows honestly before the Lord\n\n\nTo confess where we have 
 failed to love well\n\n\nTo intercede for our church\, our community\, and
  our nation\n\n\nTo remember that Christ is our peace\n\n\nIn a divided wo
 rld\, it is powerful when the church prays together.\nWe hope you will joi
 n us — not because you have the right words\, but because you belong to 
 this family. Come as you are. Come quietly if you need to. Come expectant 
 that the Spirit meets us when we seek Him together.\n“The Lord is near t
 o the brokenhearted.” (Psalm 34:18)\nWith hope in Christ\,\nYour elders
