Katelyn Was Baptized!

Katelyn Oxendine

Katelyn was invited to church by Garett Eldred about two years ago. Katelyn decided to pursue a relationship with God this past year. She began to study the Bible with Susan Adkins and Lindy Fulcher. She also got to know many other sisters in the fellowship and in her East Cobb/Sandy Springs singles Family Group. Through the studies Katelyn begin to question her own beliefs to that of God’s word. She studied and prayed that God would give her peace in her journey as she tries to follow Him according to His word. Without delay God made it clear to Katelyn through His word what it really means to live a life of a disciple and be in the family of God. On Sunday, November 19th, Katelyn gave her life to Christ. Katelyn expressed her gratitude to God, her family, her church family, and to women who preserved and studied the Bible with her. Today her main focus is to seek God daily and living a life that is pleasing and honoring Him. She is looking forward to be used by God in His church.
