Proverbs 31:8-9 says, "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy." Today we have an opportunity to speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves as we join hundreds of congregations around the world for the International Day of Giving. The International Day of Giving is an annual giving campaign supported by the International Churches of Christ and friends of HOPE worldwide. Funding from this campaign provides the foundation and resources to help more than 1.5 million people annually and strengthens vital programs in over 60 countries through a global network of love and compassion. Thank you for all the ways you've sacrificed and contributed through the years to help and heal needy people around the world.
This month, any contributions towards North River's Benevolence Fund will be contributed to HOPE worldwide's International Day of Giving campaign.
