Marriage Weekend Information

  • Theme - "With you Always"
  • Dates - Feb 28 - Mar 1
  • Location - North River Church of Christ
  • Cost - $60 per couple (Includes: Refreshments on Fri/Sat, Lunch on Sat, & Anyone Can Camps/River Kids Klub for kids on Saturday)
  • Schedule - SEE BELOW
  • Kids - Ages 6 months - 12 years
    • 0-4 - River Kids Klub - Nursery and a great kids program.
    • 5-12 - Anyone Can Camps is coming to North River! A local kids camp is coming to host an exciting day of activities, games, and fun in the lighthouse for our kids!

Friday evening:

  • 6:00-6:45 Mingle and refreshments (FLC)
  • 7:00-7:30 Welcome and Game (Auditorium)
  • 7:40-8:15 Opening lesson (Kendall/Makenzie Albert) 
  • 8:20-8:25 Closing   
  • 8:30-10:00 Games, Desserts, Dancing (FLC)

Saturday:

  • 8:30-9:00 Mingle/Coffee/pastries (FLC)
  • 8:45 Child check-in:
    • 0-4 years (Auditorium)
    • 5-12 years (Lighthouse)
  • 9:00-9:10 Welcome and Spiritual calisthenics (Auditorium)
  • 9:15-10:15 Our Stories: Couples Sharing (Keckleys/Jacksons/Childs (video))
  • 10:25 - 11:25 Three Breakout sessions
    • I Wish He/She knew Intimacy: Younger Marrieds (Schachingers) (FLC 100 and 101) 
    • Spiritual Intimacy (Channers) (FLC 103)
    • Communication Intimacy (Adkins) (Auditorium)
  • 11:30 - 11:40 Directions for lunch  (Will be done in each class)
  • 11:45-12:45 Catered Lunch (FLC)
  • 1:00- 2:00 Three Breakout sessions
    • I wish He/ She knew Intimacy: Older Marrieds (Schachingers) (FLC 100 and 101)
    • Spiritual Intimacy (Garcia-Bengocheas) (FLC 103)
