Join us as we commemorate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all nations on the day of Pentecost! On this day we celebrate the many nations represented within our North River family, featuring multiple languages during service, many different musical styles, and most of all a celebration of God's Spirit at work.

Please wear attire from your cultural heritage as we celebrate diversity, or wear the color red, which signifies the Holy Spirit coming like “tongues of fire” (Acts 2).

International Potluck

Following service, we are having an International Potluck inside and outside the Family Learning Center.

We could use help with volunteers for organizing, setup and clean up! Click here to volunteer

Reminders:

  • The meal will be in the FLC this year
  • We are asking everyone to bring a large MAIN dish to share. We are not in need of beverages or desserts. A salad or a large main dish is what is needed.
  • To cut down on too much traffic in the area just before church on Sunday June 8th, we ask you to arrive between 9:20am and 9:45am to drop off food
  • Pull around the back of the sanctuary and there will be a table and food Runners to receive your food donation. Please do not try to come into the FLC as you will be turned away for security reasons. If there is no one there to receive your item, please place it on the table and someone will pick it up shortly.
  • We ask that all goods be dropped off in disposable aluminum pans or plastic ware, and that no utensils you expect to receive back be brought.
  • If you need to drop off a crockpot, you may do so and retrieve that item after the meal in the FLC kitchen .
  • We ask that any dishes that have rice plus meat be brought in one pan together instead of separate pans, as it becomes difficult for us to keep these items together
  • We encourage everyone to dress either in the color Red or your respective cultural attire
  • No nuts - as we are a nut-free facility.
  • Note: A Potluck means that participants bring a dish in order to partake and share in the food. Please bring a dish if you are planning on eating. Thank you!
