We are celebrating the Day of Pentecost as described in Acts 2. This is in many ways the birthday of the church, the day when God's Holy Spirit was poured out to all nations. We are celebrating what God has done among us as an international fellowship.  We encourage everyone to wear traditional clothing if you are from another nation or culture. If not, we encourage you to wear the color red, as it symbolizes the fire of the Holy Spirit that was seen on that day (Acts 2:3).

Following the service, we will have an International Potluck lunch, so if you are willing, please bring a traditional dish to share, whether you are of domestic or international heritage.

Please bring chairs and blankets for the potluck and fellowship after service.

International Potluck

For those bringing dishes:

  • Bring something from your traditional culture, whether domestic or international!
  • Please label what it is and where it's from (e.g. "Empanadas - Puerto Rico")
  • Please label ingredients for those who may have dietary restrictions (e.g. "contains meat and dairy")
  • NO NUTS: Please do not include nuts in your dishes as we have members with severe nut allergies.
  • Please provide serving utensils
  • Please have your dish ready to serve IMMEDIATELY following service at the FLC patio.
  • You can drop your dish off before church starting at 9:30.
  • If your dish needs to be kept cold, please provide a cooler because we cannot provide refrigerator access.
  • Feel free to bring an international beverage! We will be providing lemonade and water, but would be happy to accomodate more as well!

We look forward to celebrating God's global Kingdom together!
