We are excited to have our first Life-Stage Sunday for Empty Nesters this week.
So what does empty nesters mean? This isn’t just for retired folks or “elderly” people. This is for anyone that doesn’t fit the other lifestages. Many empty nesters are in their 40s, still working, and living a full life. They don’t have kids at home or maybe have no kids at all! But they are able to focus on themselves as a couple or individually a little more in this stage of their lives. And let’s work on that name - “Empty Nesters.” A lot of you have commented that they didn’t like that name or didn’t feel like they fit into that category. It sounds a little “empty!”
We will reveal a new name on Sunday, because we still believe that “our best days are yet to come!” Stay tuned! To be continued!
