We are so excited about our Pentecost Service happening This Sunday! We are encouraging everyone to wear clothing from your native culture, or wear the color red, as this traditionally signifies the fire of the Holy Spirit poured out on that day. We will be featuring special music and many languages throughout the service. 

After service, there will be a big International Potluck up at the Lighthouse! Please sign up to bring a dish from your heritage!

Our Generosity Sunday Season of Giving is going on now through June! We are supporting International Missions, Local Missions, Southeast Missions, and Facilities. Our Goal is $436K, hoping that we can raise as much as $536K and be able to do even more for the glory of God!

Happening June 12-15th from 9:30-12:30, this will be a VBS like no other! This VBS is geared towards kids rising into kindergarten THIS fall through kids rising into fifth grade this fall. This event is free! Click Here To Register!

Mike Derise was coming the church for a few years but he felt like he never really gave his whole heart, he realized that he wasn’t growing spiritually and there was not much transformation in his life. Mike when on a journey for the last 6 to 8 months to start deligently studying the scriptures and applying the word to his life. Mike decided to redidicate his life to God. Mike is looking forward to raising his daughter Lacey and growing in a new career. To God be the Glory!!!

We are collecting good quality children’s books (anything from board books to middle school-age chapter books) for the HOPE Depot and for Mission 1:27 for the next two Sundays in the lobby by the HOPE table. Our THRIVE Ministry hosts evening services on the first Sunday of every month for singles and young marrieds! Join us for an inspiring time of worship followed by a fellowship event. Next one coming up on June 4th at the North River Lighthouse.

We have donated funds to the Swamp to be able to provide scholarships for summer camp registration for families in financial need and unable to pay the full price of camp. The scholarships are intended to be used by families for whom the help will make the difference between being able to sign up or not. If you are in need, please get in touch with Brianna at the Swamp right away at brianna@campswamp.com as there are a limited number available and they will be distributed by the Swamp on a first come basis.

• Alex Jackson: Alex Jackson's sister, Moriba Jackson, passed away last week. Please keep the family in your prayers as they navigate this new world without her zestful presence. Alex and Jazz are grateful for so many from the church who loved up one her during her illness from sending care packages to encouraging her when she came to visit North River; your Christ-like love is breathtaking.
• Danielle Morgan: Danielle is having brain surgery on June 9th to remove a tumor. Please pray for protection for her and for her husband, daughter and the amazing staff that will be working on the surgery and post-op care. Let their minds be comforted in God’s plans.
• Greg Lynn: Karl Lynn's brother, Greg, has STAGE 4 lung and kidney cancer. The cancer is in both lungs. Please pray for Greg, his kids and wife Brenda. 
• Judith Hicks: Judith is experiencing several mental health issues that constantly attack her faith. Please pray for her to have a firm faith in God and Jesus and to be healed mentally.
  
• Dana Hawkins: Please continue to pray for full recovery from cancer.
