Karen Williams (second row, second from right) attended Women's Day this year and was very inspired!! After studying the Bible for the last few months, she was baptized into Christ this past Sunday at the Battery House church. Karen is a nurse & looks forward to sharing about Jesus with many.

Sherri Regnery (center) was baptized into Christ on the evening of November 7. She was met by Lauren Youmans and was invited to the Woodstock Womens group by Adele Legreid. She has become a beloved part of this group. Sherri has been married for 36 years to her husband Russ . They have three adult children, Austin, Jordan and Jacqueline. She was an RN and worked in the OR for many years. She has loved God since she was a small child. She is very grateful for her salvation and the fellowship of believers at North River.

The holidays are coming with loads of opportunities to serve! Many North River families and small groups have made serving our neighbors a staple holiday tradition- join the troops! One simple and powerful way to serve is to provide supplemental meals for Marietta City Schools kiddos for their winter break from school. You can brighten up a child's life by donating to Angel Tree this year! For the next several Sundays, you can donate Wal-mart gift cards in the Angel Tree box in the foyer of the auditorium.

Please take a moment to create Gratitude Packs to honor our veterans throughout the Veteran’s Day Season! Please drop off completed Gratitude Packs at the HOPE table in the auditorium or at the HOPE Depot in the Lighthouse.

We are having our next Servant Fair on Sunday, December 10! This is an annual event, in which we set up booths to explain every area of service related to Sunday Service. Everyone in the congregation can walk around to each booth and find out all the info, ask questions, and sign up for the coming year. More details to come!

We're so excited to be hosting An All Atlanta Worship Night for our sister churches in Atlanta! We will be joined by brothers and sisters from BRIDGE POINTE, COC GWINNETT, CORNERSTONE, NORTHVIEW, NORTH RIVER, THE PATH AND MORE! The worship team for this worship night will also be made of musicians from all of these churches! We look forward to worshipping all together as members of one body!

We mourn the loss of Dr. Halcyon Lawrence. Dr. Lawrence was known and loved by many at North River. Halcyon attended Intown before taking a position in Baltimore. She was the advisor/sponsor for Alpha Omega for Georgia Tech and was a great "advisor" to many of our students. In Intown she was known for her love and faithful spirit. Read Article

• Rick Ballew: Please pray for Rick as he is dealing with some health challenges, pushing through, trusting God.
• The Childs Family: Debora Childs's mother and father both passed away recently. Please continue praying for comfort for her and her whole family. 
• Bob Keen: Please pray for Bob as he recovers from heart surgery. Please pray for complete healing.
• Harvey Allen: Our brother Harvey was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Please pray for complete healing.
• Greg Lynn: Karl Lynn's brother, Greg, has STAGE 4 lung and kidney cancer. The cancer is in both lungs. Please pray for Greg, his kids and wife Brenda. 
• Judith Hicks: Judith is experiencing several mental health issues that constantly attack her faith. Please pray for her to have a firm faith in God and Jesus and to be healed mentally.
  
• Dana Hawkins: Please continue to pray for full recovery from cancer.
