High schooler Ruby (red shirt) made the decision to make Jesus the Lord of her life and get baptized on Monday, September 2nd! Ruby was baptized in Lake Allatoona surrounded by many people from the spiritual village that has contributed to her faith throughout her childhood and now. Ruby's parents are Kevin and Marta, and her siblings are older sister Poppy and younger brother Everett. We rejoice with the Anderton family and excitedly welcome our new sister Ruby to the good fight of faith!
God has added Russ to His Kingdom. He was baptized on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. His wife, Sherri was baptized on November 7, 2023. It is always so awesome when a marriage is united in Christ and when a spouse is added to God’s Kingdom. They are a part of the Woodstock family group. Russ graduated from the University of Wisconsin with an engineering degree, and he met Sherri when in college. He worked for Lockheed as an aerospace engineer, and he retired a few years ago. They have three children. Russ and Sherri have both been very involved in the family group over the last year. It has been so amazing to see how God has been working in their lives over the last year. Sherri was met by Lauren Youmans (who also lives in Woodstock) last year. It did not take long for Sherri to study and get baptized, but Russ wanted to spend high-quality time to grow into his strong convictions of faith. We are so excited to have them be part of our North River fellowship!
