Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly.

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

We invite you to come and take a Sacred Journey. The Sacred Journey is for all those who are dissatisfied with living on the surface and who want to travel deeper into God's heart. We invite you to come and explore spiritual disciplines as we seek to create sacred space for God.

Mt 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’

This course will help you read the whole Bible, understand its meaning, retain it in your mind, and put it into practice in your life.
It will help you on your journey as a life-long, devoted learner of God's word.
The emphasis is for each person to know God's word for themselves, not merely to have heard about it in lessons or read about it in books.

Each student will create their own study plan to read the entire Bible (or read it again).
Early lessons will describe the big picture of the Bible so that you can know how everything fits together and how Jesus and the apostles viewed Scripture.
Later lessons will cover simple but essential history, geography, and background to understand each part of the Bible and how it applies to us.

  • The Pentateuch (The Torah, the Law)
  • Old Testament History and Poetry
  • The Prophets
  • The Gospels and Acts
  • The Letters of Paul, and
  • The General Letters and Revelation

Are you a new Christian looking for guidance as you read through the Bible the first time?
Are you a Christian who has never read the whole Bible, and you want some structure to help you?
Are you a Christian who has been around and needs a boost to fall in love with the Scriptures all over again?

This course is for all of you.
