Prayer Requests
Please pray for those in our church family who are hurting, those named here and others not on this list. If you have prayer requests, please let us know at connect@nrcoc.com
- Atasha Sharp: Please pray for Atasha whose father passed away recently after a long illness.
- Melinda Morrell-Wilson: Please pray for Melinda and her family. She was diagnosed with Thoracolumbar scoliosis. Her children's father is still recovering from a recent heart attack and their aunt was diagnosed with uterine cancer. She still having back/neck issues and is having a change in her medication. She will be having a kidney biopsy very soon.
- Walt Reddick: We rejoice with Walt as the cancer has been removed and they have found NO cancer in the lymph nodes! He thanks the church for all the prayers and support. Now he is in Massachusetts with his mother and siblings and is in need of prayers for his mom as she enters the last days of life. Please pray for a peaceful transition and that God and his angels take care of her.

- David's mother passed away recently, he requests prayers for his family and the families of his brothers and sisters.
- Jennifer was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Her surgery went well. Please pray for follow-up radiation treatments and for the cancer to be eradicated.
- David's brother James was diagnosed a few weeks ago with Lymphoma so please pray for him and for James’ son Jeremy who was previously diagnosed with terminal liver cancer.
- Debora Childs: Please keep Debora Childs and family in prayer. She has been diagnosed with breast cancer and continues to receive treatment. Please pray that the treatments will work and that the cancer will not spread.
- Leann Paratto: Please pray for our new sister, Leann Paratto. She has progressive Multiple Sclerosis. Please pray for healing, and that she can be reconnected with her 11-year-old daughter, Lil.
- Rosa Lopez: Please keep Rosa López in your prayers. She was diagnosed with breast cancer. Pray for healing and comfort as this is devastating news for the entire family.
- Harvey Allen: From Harvey: "I am so appreciative of being on the Prayer Request list and for the many prayers for my recovery. My actual cancer is stomach cancer. My update is that I have had about 3 scans (PET, CT, MRI's) so far, and my most recent one turned out negative (not showing activity or not highlighting on the scans). I have another scan coming up on June 16th, 2025. Please pray for negative results."
- Karl Lynn’s brother: Please pray for healing and treatment of his lung cancer.
- Russell Ray: Please pray for him and Carol and for healing and treatment of his lung cancer.
- Megan Brownfield: Our sister Megan in Chattanooga was recently diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer. Her youngest is about to turn 2 and she has a 3 and 8-year-old also. She's had to miss a lof of work for tests and such and is currently working insurance to try to get much needed tests/scands approved prior to sharting chemo.
