  2. Spirit-filled Relationships
Spirit-Filled Relationships
  • Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38)
  • But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience…Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. (Galatians 5:22, 25)
  • For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. (Romans 8:14)
Spirit-Filled Relationships
  • They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer…All the believers were together and had everything in common…They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts…and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. (Acts 2:42-47)
  • Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:1-2)
  • Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves…Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. (Romans 12:10, 13)
  • Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister;... We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. (Romans 14:13; 15:1)
Practical:
  • Who do I need to forgive...again?
  • From whom do I need to ask forgiveness...again?
