Upcoming Events in 2025

Christmas Performance Details:

We are excited to start rehearsing soon for our Kid's Christmas Productions during the 9am and 11am services on December 14th. This performance is only for FLC kids so classes starting at 3 years old and through fifth grade. Marie Toussaint and Jasmine Jackson will be heading it up this year. Please be sure to plan for your child to attend this performance and come wearing their christmas best (preferably white, green, red, or black).

Here are some details for you to prepare and work on songs with your kids over the next couple of months:

REHEARSALS:

During Kid's Worship time in church class on the following dates: Sept 28, Oct 5, 12, 19, 26, Nov 2, 9, 16, 23
Auditions for soloist will be in October
Dec 7: Rehearsal with soloists and dancers only
Dec 14: Final run through 8:15am before the first service for all children

SONGS:

Away in a Manger (Simple movements, no solos, actors in background will be set up as a silent nativity)

Instrumental version

Go Tell it on a Mountain (Fun movements, 3 solos chosen during October class rehearsals)

Instrumental version

Born is the King by Hillsong (Simple movements, Dancers dancing in background while kids clap and raise hands)
