We are inviting the church to participate in a fast from January 9th through the 29th. As we fast, we focus and pray on the following: Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done: In us, in our family group, at North River and in Atlanta.
Kaley Barrow is Joining the Children’s Ministry Team!
Kaley has been a disciple for 10 years-converted in Triangle church of christ at 17 years old. She is finishing her undergraduate degree at KSU majoring in sociology with a concentration in cultural and social change. She married Azariah (AZ) Barrow in 2019 before relocation to Cambridge England. She comes back stateside through her husbands career promotion as an aeronautical stress analyst at Lockheed Martin. She is excited to plug in, learn, and serve our families as an assistant children ministry leader!
We are having Family Group Leaders/Facilitators meeting this Sunday at 12 PM in the FLC. Because the fast that is ongoing, we will not be providing lunch. Feel free to bring your own food. We're looking forward to a special Strengths-Based training presentation.
With MLK coming this weekend, we want to focus on all opportunities MLK. There are 3 great ways to serve this upcoming weekend/week: 1) the donation drive on Sunday, 2) helping to organize donations on Sunday and Monday, and 3) volunteering at Books for Africa on Monday. Click for all the details!

- Michael Walker: Michael's father passed away recently. Please pray for comfort and healing for his family.
- Candy Colombo: Candy's mother, Doris, passed away recently, just shy of her 99th birthday. Please pray for Candy and her family during this difficult time.
- Judith Hicks: Judith is experiencing several mental health issues that constantly attack her faith. Please pray for her to have a firm faith in God and Jesus and to be healed mentally.
- Erb Family - Ken Erb, of the Chattanooga church, lost his wife Jan on Thanksgiving Day. Please pray for him, their daughters and son, grandchildren, and great grandchildren—it was a sudden passing.
- Sanders Family: Evan Sanders’ brother, Ian, passed away unexpectedly last month. Continued prayers during this difficult time would be appreciated.
- Abe DeLeon: We thank you for your constant and fervent prayers for Abe DeLeon. A recent test has shown that the cancer treatment he went through was effective. To God be the glory!
- Brian Sires: Please pray for complete healing from cancer.
- Lauren Riley: Please pray for complete healing from cancer.
- Dana Hawkins: We thank God for cancer treament completion. Please continue to pray for full recovery from cancer.
