Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to meet and fellowship with disciples from all over the world!
The students in the campus ministry are excited to go to this year’s World Discipleship Summit in Orlando, FL! For many of us, it’s our first conference ever as disciples! We are looking for ways to serve in order to raise some money to help cover the cost of attending ICMC. We are open to babysitting, doing yard work, picking up groceries, and even washing your car! This is all in hopes that any donations we collect can help us with the final fees we need to cover for the conference. If you have anything we can help with please email sydneyreese@nrcoc.com. We look forward to serving you and to experiencing VISION at WDS!
For those going to WDS, this is a great opportunity to meet the brothers and sisters we love and support throughout the Caribbean! Wednesday (8/3) at 4 PM, location TBA.
We have another Men's Prayer Breakfast coming up this Saturday morning at the FLC. This an amazing event hosted by the North River Elders to provide an opportunity for men throughout the church and across demographics to come together for fellowship and prayer.
Vouchers are available to offset some of the costs of registering children for a week at The Swamp. All vouchers are being distributed electronically this year. If you are interested, please contact Alberto Schirmer at albertoschirmer@nrcoc.com. They are intended to be used by families for whom the vouchers will make the difference between being able to sign up or not. As there are a limited number of vouchers available, they will be distributed on a first come basis until all are given out.

Dear Family,
It is with heavy hearts that Tom and I inform you of the death of my beloved father Robert "Bobby" Jones on July 8 at the age of 84. He passed from long-term illness complications in the comfort of his home with all of his children by his bedside. We will miss his love for our family, our annual Thanksgiving gathering, epic battles over sports events, love of Westerns, and his irrational zeal for extremely hot weather. He will always remain in our hearts. We are asking for your thoughts and prayers for safe travels to Florida for the private military ceremony next weekend and to be carried by God's love and comfort while processing this loss in our lives. Thank you all.
My favorite phrase I wrote in his cards, "I Iove you forever" reminds me of the book. "I love you forever, I like you for always, as long as I'm living, my daddy you'll be"
Yours Truly,
Tom and Rhonda Blacks
