Woman's Month 2022
It has been an incredible Women's Month! Special women's events have been taking place all over metro Atlanta fo the past few weeks. It's amazing to see God moving in our women's ministry!
Shout out to Anna and Bella for a great job with their women's day brunch! Many guests were present, and anna and Bella shared about how they go to God for help with their anxiety in a video they prepared. Beebe shared too and taught the girls how to journal and draw near to God. 10 of Anna’s neighbors were there with their daughters, and some moms as well. One mom said she was so thankful and said it was exactly what her daughter needed - to connect with other girls about anxiety which she’s been struggling with and lonely. All these girls are at Dodgen middle school together! It inspired me how much we can reach parents through helping their kids with real life issues.

Our 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament is this Saturday at the Lighthouse Gym! Registration is now closed, but everyone is welcome to come cheer on our players! Games start at 9 AM.
We have choir rehearsal this Sunday at 1 PM in the auditorium. This is the last day to join if you didn't get a chance to be at our first rehearsal. We're getting ready for a special Easter performance, so if you're interested, please come out!
We are excited to bring back our 1st of the Month Family Worship Services at 10 am in 2022, no registration required, geared towards young families. At the NR Playground! Our "Spring Series" begins on April 3rd.
We will be having a special time of pizza and fellowship after church on Sunday, April 3! We are encouraging everyone who is able to stay afterwards and enjoy the Spring weather, great time together, and of course, free pizza!

As we are all getting back to our schedules, it's time to deal with items that have filled up our Lost and Found closet! On Sunday, April 3, we will set out all these items on tables outside the auditorium for you to reclaim after the 11 service. All items not reclaimed that day will be donated to charity. This summer the campus ministry is excited to bring back the Campus Training Program! May 18-22 we will be hosting students from around the east coast for a time of building faith, creating friendships, and equipping students with training to be able to love and serve their campus ministries. In the past we have been able to keep the cost of CTP low for attendees with the help of members of the church opening their home for students while they're here. If you are interested in hosting a few students during this year's CTP, please email ctpnrcoc@gmail.com.
This past weekend, the Singles and YoPro ministries from 6 different states in the ACR gathered to connect and be inspired to ReConnect to God and each other! At the end of last year, Anthony Vines moved from North River to lead the YoPro group in Pittsburg. Lizzy Carrico, who helps lead our campus ministry at North River, had the chance to speak and encourage the group to love Jesus and each other as they did at first. It was such a meaningful time and inspiring to see a fire reignited in the hearts of the disciples as they left the retreat.
Save the date for VBS: June 6-9! This is an amazing opportunity as so many in the church come together to give our kids a meaningful and inspiring time getting to know God and His Word!
