Shaquel Jackson

Shaquel center) found North River after searching “church near me” on Instagram. Even though it was over an hour from her home in Lithonia, she decided to visit — and was warmly welcomed from day one. Her love for God and people was clear as she quickly built friendships, connected with disciples in Decatur, and eagerly studied the Bible to grow in her faith.

Kids’ Ministry Volunteers Needed

Kids’ Ministry Volunteers Needed

Help our kids’ ministry thrive — one Sunday at a time

We’re currently short on teachers for our kids’ classes and could really use your help. If you’re available and willing to serve, even just once or twice a month, it would make a huge difference. Our kids are such a vital part of this church family, and we want to make sure they’re cared for and growing each week.

Winter Family Meal Sharing

Winter Family Meal Sharing

Help us provide meals and gift cards to families in need this season.

Many families in our community are feeling the strain of inflation and the recent government shutdown, especially those facing food insecurity. Through our partnership with Marietta City Schools, we’re providing meals and gift cards to families in need during school breaks — and we need your help more than ever. Sign up for Winter 2025 Family Meal Sharing by clicking the register button down below and join us in living out Matthew 25:35-40 as we remind our neighbors of God’s faithful love.
