A Special Night of Prayer and LamentA sacred space to bring our grief, questions, and hope before the Lord together. Dear Church Family, In recent months, many of us have carried quiet burdens — sorrow over division in our nation, grief over racial wounds, anxiety about the future, weariness from cultural tension, and personal struggles that feel heavy. We do not want anyone to carry those things alone — or to carry them apart from one another. Scripture gives us a gift we often overlook: lament. Throughout the Psalms and the prophets, God’s people bring their confusion, grief, anger, and fear directly to Him. Lament is not complaining. It is not political posturing. It is not assigning blame. Lament is an act of faith — choosing to turn toward God together in our pain rather than away from Him or against one another. On Friday March 13th at 7pm, we will gather for a Night of Lament. This will not be a debate. It will not be a forum for opinions. It will be a space for prayer, Scripture, silence, confession, and hope in Christ. We will come not as political tribes, but as one family redeemed by Jesus. We may not agree on every issue, but we belong to the same Savior. And because of Him, we can kneel side by side. Our focus will be simple:
In a divided world, it is powerful when the church prays together. We hope you will join us — not because you have the right words, but because you belong to this family. Come as you are. Come quietly if you need to. Come expectant that the Spirit meets us when we seek Him together. “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted.” (Psalm 34:18) With hope in Christ, Your elders and servants on staff
