From Ordinary to Extaordinary Faith
Francis Dasse, Accra, Ghana
Francis Dasse and his wife Paule, who lead the Accra Christian Church in Accra, Ghana, came to visit us at North River and preached this sermon on August 8, 2022.
Bonds between NR and Accra
Since 2011, we at North River have had a great relationship with the Accra Christian Church.
We have sent our members to visit and we have hosted their members visiting us.
We support the Accra church financially as well.
North River has a group of six couples that continue to have regular Zoom calls with Accra disciples to continue to advance the relationship. We are grateful for the spiritual bond of friendship that God has built between our two congregations.
Great Memories over the Years
These are pictures from many of our visits and exchanges.
In 2011, John and Pam Durkota, Alex Jackson, and Stephen and Susan Adkins (and their children, Mary Alice, Paul, and Christine) first visited Accra to explore building a relationship. Alex Jackson worked for a number of weeks with Accra's campus ministry.
Later, Brody and Brooke Snell led a team of college students to visit for a month and work together with Accra's campus ministry. Two years later, Cody and Kirstie Porter led another team of college students to do the same.
Susan and Stephen Adkins will be in Accra for 11 days in April 2022.
