*Easter Choir Members will gather together for a special house church service at the main auditorium

Many of us are carrying burdens in these days. Our upcoming Night of Lament will be a time for our church family to gather in prayer, Scripture, silence, and hope as we bring our sorrows honestly before the Lord and remember that Christ is our peace.

After being invited by our brother Tommy and studying the Bible with the men of the Thrive Ministry, Wilson Bell (center) was baptized into Christ this past Sunday following our service.

We rejoice with Wilson and welcome him as our new brother in Christ.

We are excited to welcome Jonathan and Zeny Cordero into our church family! They have been coming to North River for a few years but did not have the capacity to engage in the family of believers for various reasons. After having their second child and getting plugged into the Village Ministry they began studying the Bible and sharing their faith journey that God has brought them on. We are excited and grateful to have them as members of our church family and encourage you to get to know them and their God written story if you can! 

Congratulations to your children who are graduating in spring and moving into our Middle School Ministry! We look forward to celebrating them and their time in River Kids on May 17th after church for a luncheon in their honor.  It takes time to get everyone's info collected and order the bibles so please respond asap. Please have this form filled out by March 15th. If we don't receive a response by the deadline, we'll assume your child/family is unable to attend. 

Please check the Lost & Found closet and bins and reclaim your possessions. We are overflowing with merchandise!

Your 2025 Giving Statement was emailed on January 29th to the email address we have on file. Don’t forget to check your spam or junk folder. If you did not receive it, please contact us at connect@nrcoc.com and we are happy to help. 

Our weekly giving goal for March is $44,000, and thanks to your generosity, our March 1st total was $56,209.95 (this includes make-up contributions). Your generous support propels our mission forward, allowing us to strengthen our connections with both our church family and the wider community. Over the past few months, we have been deeply encouraged by your generosity, receiving about $140,000 in one-time gifts. Together with careful budget management, these extraordinary donations are allowing us to bridge the gap in our weekly contributions. Your support makes a meaningful difference, and we are incredibly grateful for your willingness to step in and help with such heart and sacrifice. 

As we look ahead, the most powerful way to sustain this momentum is through consistent, regular giving. Faithful weekly and monthly gifts—of any size—allow us to plan wisely, support our ministries, and carry out our mission with confidence throughout the year. Please prayerfully consider joining us for the Spring '26 Family Meal Sharing to support Marietta kids with breakfast and lunch over spring break. While some may be gearing up for vacations and fun in the sun, we're mindful of our neighbors who are eager to recover the meals their children will miss while school is closed. The delivery date is Saturday, April 4th, or your team can bring gift cards to a YES! volunteer by Sunday, March 29th. Please sign up by Friday, March 13th.
