The Atlanta Journal-Constitution featured many in our North River family in an article last week! On March 5 the AJC ran a story about the book giveaways the HOPEww chapter has been doing for Black History Month and Juneteenth! We are honored to serve alongside such amazing brothers and sisters.

As has been our custom lately on the fifth Sunday of the month, we are meeting in house churches on Sunday, March 30. We encourage everyone to meet in smaller settings, such as Family Groups. It's a great opportunity to lean into the Spiritual Family value we hold so dear at North River. We will be offering a discussion plan from our series in the Gospel of Mark for groups to use, but feel free to be flexible on what to do that day. More info coming! 

Our dear sister Marie is in the ICU at Kennestone Hospital with pneumonia and flu. She is currently sedated and intubated. It's a pretty serious situation, so please pray for complete healing. She cannot have visitors right now, so the best thing we can do for her is pray. 

We have our first choir rehearsal this Sunday from 12-1 PM in the auditorium! We are excited to get ready for our Easter Service on April 20! No previous choir experience is required - all are welcome! Please reach out to Chase at chasemackintosh@nrcoc.com if you have any questions!

Happy Women's Month! Different Life Stages will be hosting different women's events throughout the month of March. Click below to see all events by Life Stage. The Pacesetters Ministry will be having events by Family Group, so please ask a Pacesetters Family Group leader for more info on those events! We hope and pray this will be a spiritually beneficial for all the women and many friends and neighbors!

Join us for worship service this Sunday at 10 AM in the auditorium! We look forward to continuing our series on the Gospel of Mark.

There will also be a Youth and Family Service at 10 AM in the Lighthouse.
