Blood, Ink, and PencilSee lesson from All Church Midweek Jordan delivered a great lesson about how we read and understand the Bible. He focused on the difference between the "blood" issues (core teachings of Christianity), the "ink" issues (things we can disagree about and still be Christians), and "pencil" issues (matters of opinion). |

Co-workers In ChristHow men and women work together to serve the Church Recently at Midweek, one of our elders, Kevin Broyles, made an announcement about a task force that has been meeting for several months called "Co-Workers in Christ: How men and women work together to serve the Church." Its purpose is to explore and clarify our biblical understanding of how God calls and empowers women to use their gifts to build up the North River family. Its goal is to offer to the leadership team thoughtful, prayerful, and scripture-based RECOMMENDATIONS for how this understanding can be practically lived out in our congregation. Click to see the full announcement about the Task Force, as well as a Resource List on the topic. |

Lost and Found
Please check the Lost and Found, as they are getting full! There are actually 3 places to check for lost and found items: The auditorium (closet in the foyer), the Lighthouse, and the FLC. In a few weeks we will need to clean them out and donate what is there, so please check and see if any of your belongings are there. Thanks! |
